Q. Can I attend all the events
A. We encourage you to attend as many events as you can. The interaction with our professionals as well as other members should be seen as a great benefit.
Q. Can I bring a friend who is a non member to the event?
A. In certain circumstances non-members can attend the event. There will be an additional charge for them.
Q. How often are the events held?
A. We would like to hold events in each sport every 2 -3 months. This will be conditional to the clubs fixtures and commitments.
Q. Where will the events be held?
A. Events will be nationwide, with the possibility of extending this to other parts of the United Kingdom in due course.
Q. When will events be held?
A. The majority of events will be held on a Sunday, however due to fixture changes and professional availability they could run on Saturdays. They will always be on a weekend however.
Q. Can I participate in the event?
A. Depending on the set up of the event, we strongly encourage participation.
Please remember to bring with you a change of clothing and trainers with no studds.
In some circumstances, events drills will be performed by an academy team.
Q. Are the events free?
A. Not all events will be free. The small charge for entrance will cover the costs of hire of the club facilities, payment for the professionals and administrative costs.
Q. What legal aspects are there to the Association?
A. All staff and professional coaches are CRB registered and we strongly advise all members to do so. The easiest way is to complete your FA Level 2 Coaching Badge.
Additionally, there is a qualified 1st Aider at all events, with a fully equipped First Aid Box and The Coaches Association is covered with 3rd party public liability.
Q. Do I have to be a qualified coach to join an Association?
A. No. The Association is open for anyone to join. If you do have a coaching qualification, the events and drills are there to aid and assist you with further coaching development.
Q. Am I able to download the drills – is there copyright?
A. All members are free and able to download any of the drills.
Q. Can I add my own drill?
A. If you have anything you would like to share with the other members, please send it through to Lynsey – Lynsey@thecoachesassociation.com
Q. Can I enter the competition more than once?
A. Once you have given your answer to a question, you are unable to answer again.
Q. Can I enter every competition?
A. You can try your luck at the competition every time a new question is asked!
Q. How often are new questions asked?
A. The competition question will be changed every 4 - 6 weeks.
Q. How will I be notified if I win the competition?
A. Should you be one of our lucky winners, you will receive an email from the Association informing you and requesting certain information, including the prefered delivery address.
Q. How do I submit a news story to you?
